Inhaler Recycling 

Inhalers cannot be recycled or disposed of with household waste so patients are now encouraged to return them to pharmacies or to the Practice dispensary. This is so they can be incinerated with medical waste rather than go to landfill. All community pharmacies should offer this service. This service is completly free of charge to the patients.

Insulin Pen cycling 

Pinfold is working closely with Novo Nordisk and Alliance Health care to recyle used Insulin pens. These pens are made from high-quality, long-lasting materials that are too good to waste. By recycling them, we can help to give these materials new purpose. This service is completly free of charge to the patients. To get started , collect a Pencycle Return box from Pinfold Medical Practice Dispensary or nearest Participating Pharmacy, or order online at no extra cost on PenCycle
